AAHIVM PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALING

As the established professional standard of HIV care and treatment, AAHIVM’s HIV Specialist™ and HIV Expert certifications are the first and only credentials offered domestically and internationally to physicians (MDs and DOs), nurse practitioners, and physician assistants specializing in expert level HIV care. Providers may achieve the HIV Specialist™ (AAHIVS) or HIV Expert (AAHIVE) designation after meeting strict eligibility requirements, and successfully completing a rigorous, psychometrically sound, knowledge-based exam on HIV-specialized medical care. The HIV Specialist™ / HIV Expert credentialing exam programs are overseen by CASTLE Worldwide, Inc., one of the nation’s leading testing companies.
