Our Advocacy Efforts

AAHIVM ADVOCACY:

AAHIVM is closely monitoring implementation of the law, and working with our policy partners to provide input on all apsects of the law that are important to HIV providers and their patients.
Below are some examples of our efforts: 
 
Comments to CMS from AAHIVM and the HIV Healthcare Access Working Group on the Healthy Pennsylvania 1115 demonstration and similar waivers.
Letter to HHS from  AAHIVM and the HIV/AIDS community on third party payments, transparency, pharmaceutical coverage, and cost of medications in qualified health plans. 
Comments to HHS from AAHIVM and the HIV/AIDS community on  network adequacy and essential community providers.
