Routine Testing Toolkit
Routine HIV testing has been recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since 2006, in the Revised Recommendations for HIV Testing of Adults, Adolescents, and Pregnant Women in Health-Care Settings.
Through a partnership with the CDC, AAHIVM has developed a Routine HIV Testing Toolkit to help providers learn about routine HIV testing and implement the concept in their practices.
Included in the Routine Testing Toolkit are the following resources, some of which are available to download below.

  • Report on Best Practices in HIV Testing and Linkage to Care

  • Routine HIV Testing in Health Care Settings – a PowerPoint presentation complete with speaking points for providers to educate others on routine HIV testing

To order the CDROM:

Call AAHIVM at 202-659-0699 x11 to request a single or bulk order of the Routine HIV Testing Toolkit CD Rom, or to request hard copies of any of the resources individually.
